London

As I am 6 feet 5inches (195cm) tall I have decided to collect details of caravans and campers that have fixed beds large enough for me which are on sale in the UK.
I am married with 2 children so my focus will be on those vans that have enough space to accommodate a family of 4 for a week or two.
As my children are growing older I also have one eye on a van that would be perfect for two but able to accommodate an extra pair of bodies if needed.

Motorhomes

Roller team have an excellent choice of great value motorhomes with very large beds - I own the Zefiro 685.

Starting with the Zafiro 675
Internal height is over 2 metres at 208cm so all in all a fantastic choice for those with the money to afford a motorhome with the dimensions to accommodate folk up to and beyond 2 metres in height.

Caravans

No UK manufacturers sell a caravan with a fixed bed larger than 6'3" and many of them are shorter than that. You will have to rely on the converted front dinette if you want to go British and have a bed long enough.
Most of the German caravan manufacturers have large and long beds but dealership networks are limited in the UK.
The only manufacturer with a proper dealership network in the UK that make large enough fixed beds are Adria.
Adria provide caravans with large beds suitable for tall people on a number of their ranges.
The Adria Adora Seine for instance has two fixed singles of 200x77 and 189x77 and a convertible front dinette which gives a bed size of 212x154. Headroom is 6'5" (195cm) in their vans across the range which is pretty much the industry standard these days. The base price of this van is from £23,395 (MRRP correct at the 14th March 2019).

German caravan maker Knaus has started to deal directly to the UK market now and offer a number of very attractive layouts with fixed beds for all the family.

Weinsberg offer cheaper options with a number of suitable caravans including the CaraTwo 500 QDK with a large fixed double at the front 208x137 narrowing to 127 and two 186x66cm bunks at the back. You can also convert the dinette into a further bed of 187x94/124 but I am not sure about why they specify two different widths for that bed.

Hobby caravans offer some very striking looking caravans. They are well built, heavy and towards the higher end of the price scale. They are also favoured by gypsies because of their hard wearing nature lending themselves to be lived in full time.
